System status

Here you can always see the operational state of your app and the Usable platform — the current state of your own system, the platform components and any incidents affecting you. Answers the question „is it me or is it you?“ without contacting support.

What you see here

At the very top the traffic-light overview: how many components are operational, degraded or down. Below that, first your own app (is your backend reachable, how fast it responds, when it was last checked, availability over the last 90 days) and then the Usable platform components (website, control plane, provisioning, email, file storage). Every component carries a state: operational, degraded, partial outage, major outage or maintenance.

Reading incidents

Under „Incidents“ you find ongoing and past incidents. The most important filter is scope: „Platform“ affects all customers, „Your instance“ specifically affects your system. Each incident moves through the phases investigating → identified → monitoring → resolved and carries a severity. Open an incident to read its chronological history („14:02 identified …“) and to see which components are affected.

Where the data comes from

The status data is mirrored automatically from the Usable platform into your app; there is nothing to maintain here and nothing to edit. The same data is also available publicly at usable.software/status — so you can embed the status outside the app in your own channels.

Status or support?

„System status“ shows the operational state of the platform and your app, mirrored by us and read-only — not to be confused with „Helpdesk“, where your team runs its own support requests as tickets. If an incident affects you and you need help, reach us via Helpdesk/Support. For incidents that may involve personal data, Usable notifies you as the controller without undue delay (Art. 33(2) GDPR) so you can meet your own reporting deadline.
