What you do here
You register assets and devices (type, inventory/serial number, QR label, manufacturer, location) and track status, owner and the next maintenance/inspection. The list, the lifecycle board and the maintenance calendar keep you on top of things; overdue dates are highlighted.
Check-out & assignment
Owner = the permanently responsible person (custodian). Check-out/check-in models the temporary hand-over: “Check out” issues an asset to a person or a location (with a due-back date), “Check in” takes it back. Every hand-over stays in the history – so it is always provable who currently holds a device.
Photo & QR label
Add a photo per asset – devices are recognised faster by image than by name. The label value (QR/barcode) can be scanned straight into the form; it is unique across the database so a scan leads to the right record.
Inspection duties & proof
Many work equipment items carry recurring inspection duties: electrical equipment under DGUV Rule 3 (inspection by a qualified electrician), work equipment under BetrSichV § 14 (intervals from the risk assessment), plus lifts/TÜV and fire protection where applicable. This register keeps the asset and its next due date on record; the actual inspection/maintenance documentation lives in the Inspections and Maintenance modules, which reference these assets.
Fixed-asset accounting / depreciation
For fixed assets the acquisition value, acquisition date, useful life and book value matter. The ordinary useful life follows the official depreciation tables (§ 7 German Income Tax Act, straight-line); low-value assets (§ 6 (2)) can be written off at once. The record should be traceable per GoBD – values and dates are kept here for that purpose.

The register of all articles and products – with image, SKU, category, variants, price, stock and supplier.
M09Tasks
Tasks are the "who does what by when" across all areas – as a kanban board by status or as a list.
M10Surveys
With Surveys you build your own questionnaires with pages, media and branching, decide how anonymous responses are and how participants get in, and distribute them internally or by link. Responses form a history; thresholds raise alerts.
M11Checklists
Checklists lets you build any number of inspection templates (e.g. vehicle walk-around, electrical safety check), publish exactly one valid version per template, and run recurring inspections on subjects such as vehicles, machines or locations. Every run is stored as an immutable, signed record.
